It is wonderful to see my vision, dream and plan come into place and this included having my “Mitch Schlimer Fine Artography” in two prestigious Charleston galleries, my first Exhibition and Show where pieces of my "Fine Artography" sold, and also have a complete Merchandise line with over 120 items today, and now expanding from Charleston as my home base and all this has happened in the last 4 months and the sky is the limit!

The next phase of expansion has now started in Georgia and especially Atlanta where I lived and ran the EpiCenter and the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame located in midtown Atlanta and had our true one of a kind Induction events into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame including having 337 people at the Carter center and was called by the Huffington Post the "Academy Awards Of Entrepreneurship".

I am proud to share my "Fine Artography" is now in both Charleston and Atlanta Style & Design Magazines as seen here and do get a copy as it is a beautiful first class magazine by its very talented staff including Publisher Quentin Senise, Editor Debra Kronowitz, Production Editor Kellie Frissell and others dedicated to excellence.

YES! "Dreams Do Come True" yet this is not done alone and therefore thank you to all of you who have supported me and believe in my "vision" especially bringing my "Phototherapy" to the World through my truly "1 in a Million Moments" collection of Prints and Merchandise!

November 19, 2023 - 1 in a Million Moments: A Collection by Charleston Artographer Mitch Schlimer Coming to Mary Martin Gallery

The public is invited to Mary Martin Gallery on December 1st for the opening reception of “1 IN A MILLION MOMENTS: A COLLECTION BY ARTOGRAPHER MITCH SCHLIMER” which will be held at 5 pm to 8 pm at 143 East Bay Street, Charleston.

Thanks to cell phone cameras, everyday around the world millions AND millions AND millions of photos are taken. However only a certain number fall into the category of “Artography” - painterly photographs.

Gallery Launch

Mitch Schlimer, an award-winning Artographer, has spent decades focusing on capturing what many describe as a “one in a million” moment in the birding and wildlife world. Schlimer has created an impressive collection of coastal wildlife which will be on exhibit during the show.

“I paint by shooting during the morning and evening golden hour, and position myself with an intentional background” states Schlimer. Similar to artists of other mediums, Schlimer takes great care in the preparation and composition of each Artograph.

Using a 1/1000 of a second camera setting, along with his keen artistic eye and patience, Schlimer is able to capture truly unique moments. Moments not usually seen in wildlife photographic images, such as a group of majestic Snowy Egrets along a Lowcountry bank at the exact “take off” moment.

“It was amazing. I will always remember seeing the little baby heron looking up at the parents’ loving embrace and capturing that intimate moment.” says Schlimer, regarding the “Great Blue Herons’ Loving Embrace” artograph.

A successful businessman and entrepreneur, cameras and photography have always been part of his life since his father gave him a Polaroid camera as a youngster. Today Schlimer spends all his time following his passion and creating extraordinary wildlife artographs.

All of Mitch Schlimer’s artography are available in various sizes on canvas, plexi face mount, metal plate, or metallic paper at Mary Martin Gallery.

Mitch Schlimer is represented by Mary Martin Galleries in Charleston, SC and will be in attendance at the opening reception to meet the public.

“Mitch Schlimer Artography “ singed yesterday to have Mary Martin and her 2 gorgeous Charleston downtown Fine Art Galleries of which one is located on Historic Broad Street and Gallery Row, and the second Gallery is on East Bay Street in the Historic French Quarter as you can learn all about and see the galleries and the esteemed Artists I have now joined and some of their incredible work from around the World and that even includes for sale a painting by former President George Bush.

As Mary said to me in the parking lot of her East Bay Gallery were I opened my trunk in the blistering heat Tuesday and showed her some of my work and especially my signature capture of “Two Bald Eagles Holding Wings “ in flight plus some others like the Great Blue Herons 1 in a Million “moment with them embracing and the new born below looking up at them, “Mitch, in all my decades I have never seen such Wildlife moments and want you and your extraordinary and unique “Artography” in both my Galleries some come inside, meet my team and let’s get you a contract and let’s get going now “.  I told you Mary is a real Entrepreneur and boy she knows how to “close” the deal!

You can see me and Ron here and while at a Restaurant in Island Park he said to me “ I need to paint this” as he was referring to the 2 Eagles on my shirt which I captured at Founders Way. We talked, showed him some of my “Artography “ and asked me where I lived and told him Charleston and he said “ you know Mary Martin and her downtown Galleries as she represents me there. She will love your Artography and I am going to call her and he immediately did, set up a meeting and the rest is history as yes, “We Are Connected “ as this is 1 of the 7 Mindsets I live by especially to “Live My Ultimate Life”.
